Scottsburg Athletics is proud to recognize Marley Fleenor and Kameron Reed as our September Athletes of the Month for their outstanding performances, dedication, and leadership. Marley Fleenor, a standout on the girls golf team, capped off an impressive season by qualifying for the IHSAA Regional. She led the Warriorettes in scoring average and showed remarkable growth throughout the year, improving her performance each round. In addition to her success on the golf course, Marley is also a valuable member of the Scottsburg cheer team, making her a true multi-sport athlete. Her ability to balance both sports while continuing to lead by example speaks volumes about her work ethic and school spirit. Kameron Reed has been the definition of a true multi-sport athlete this fall, excelling in both cross country and football. As the number one runner for the Warriors cross country team, Kameron has consistently set the pace and inspired his teammates. His work ethic is unmatched — often contributing valuable minutes on the football field Friday nights, then turning around to lead the cross country team early Saturday mornings. Congratulations to Marley and Kameron for their outstanding accomplishments and for representing Scottsburg Athletics with heart, grit, and Warrior pride!
