Scottsburg Athletics is proud to recognize Brooklyn Moon and Garrett Boling as our August Athletes of the Month for their outstanding performances and leadership. In her first season of cross country, senior Brooklyn Moon has quickly emerged as the leader of the Warriorette squad. Her dedication, work ethic, and positive attitude have set the tone for her teammates, making an immediate impact in her debut season. Brooklyn’s consistent improvement and commitment to representing Scottsburg with pride have earned her well-deserved recognition. On the gridiron, Garrett Boling has been a force for the Warriors football team. Not only does he lead the entire state in tackles, but he also tops the team in multiple offensive and defensive categories. His relentless effort, leadership, and versatility have made him an anchor on both sides of the ball. Garrett’s stellar play also earned him honors as the Southern Indiana Player of the Week, highlighting his exceptional start to the season.
