The Scottsburg Warriors boys tennis team will continue its postseason run Tuesday evening when it competes in the IHSAA Boys Tennis Regional at Bedford North Lawrence High School. Scottsburg will face Seymour in one of two regional semifinal matches on Tuesday, October 6, at 5:30 p.m. The Warriors and Owls will compete on Courts 1-5. In the other semifinal, Columbus North will take on Batesville at 5:30 p.m. on Courts 6-10. IHSAA Regional Schedule Tuesday, October 6 – Semifinals - Seymour vs. Scottsburg – 5:30 p.m. | Courts 1-5 - Columbus North vs. Batesville – 5:30 p.m. | Courts 6-10 Wednesday, October 7 – Regional Championship - Semifinal winners – 5:30 p.m. | Courts 1-5 The winner of Tuesday's Scottsburg-Seymour match will advance to Wednesday evening's regional championship against the winner of Columbus North and Batesville. Scottsburg earned its place in the regional after capturing the IHSAA Boys Tennis Sectional championship on its home courts at Scottsburg High School. The Warriors now move one step deeper into the state tournament as they look to keep their postseason run alive. Bedford North Lawrence will also host competition involving undefeated No. 1 singles players and No. 1 doubles teams whose teams did not advance from sectional play. Those matches will be held around the team regional schedule and do not alter the Warriors' 5:30 p.m. semifinal start.
