MADISON, Ind. — Scottsburg’s Audrey Bishop and Layla Copple both earned spots in the next round of the IHSAA state tournament Saturday, highlighting a strong showing by the Warriorettes at the Girls Golf Sectional at Sunrise Golf Course in Madison. Bishop and Copple claimed two of the three individual regional qualifying spots available to golfers whose teams did not advance. Bishop finished with a 104, while Copple was close behind with a 110. Copple was consistent throughout her round, shooting a 56 on the front and a 54 on the back to finish at 110. Those three teams advanced to the regional.
