Warriorettes Compete at Mid-Southern Conference Golf Championship

Bishop Earns All-MSC Honors as Warriorettes Compete at Conference Tournament CORYDON — The Scottsburg Warriorettes competed in the 2026 Mid-Southern Conference Girls Golf Tournament Saturday at Old Capital Golf Course in Corydon. Due to the weather forecast, the tournament was shortened to nine holes. Scottsburg was represented by Audrey Bishop, Layla Copple and Megan Meyer. With three golfers competing, the Warriorettes did not post a team score, but came away with two individual conference honors. Audrey Bishop led the Warriorettes with a 51, earning All-Mid-Southern Conference honors. Layla Copple was just four strokes behind with a 55, earning Honorable Mention All-MSC recognition. Megan Meyer completed the Scottsburg lineup with a 63. Silver Creek captured the MSC team championship with a 203, while Madison finished runner-up at 207. Corydon Central was third at 221, followed by North Harrison (239), Salem (241), Brownstown Central (242) and Charlestown (272). Silver Creek’s Emerson Cecil earned medalist honors with a nine-hole score of 44. Madison’s Lilly Clark led the Cubs with a 50.
