Scottsburg Girls Track & Field will continue postseason competition Tuesday evening as the Warriorettes travel to Bloomington South High School for the 2026 IHSAA Girls Track & Field Regional #7. The regional meet begins at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, and features qualifiers advancing from sectional sites at Bloomington South, Columbus North, Madison, and Seymour. Bloomington North is serving as the official host, but the meet will be contested at Bloomington South High School due to construction on the Bloomington North campus. Scottsburg Regional Qualifiers Scottsburg will be represented in four events Tuesday night: Taylor Busick — Long Jump Anissah Payne-Eldridge — Pole Vault Addison Eldridge — Pole Vault Kylee Miles — 100 Meter Hurdles Busick qualified after a runner-up finish in the long jump at sectional competition, while Payne-Eldridge advanced with a second-place finish in the pole vault. Eldridge later earned a regional spot as an alternate qualifier in the pole vault after all sectional results were finalized. Miles enters the regional in the 100 hurdles with a seed time of 17.70. Advancement to State The top three finishers in each event, along with athletes or relay teams meeting the IHSAA state qualifying standard, will advance to the IHSAA Girls Track & Field State Finals in Indianapolis.
