Boys Track Shows Strength in Relays and Field Events

The Scottsburg boys finished seventh overall at the New Albany Relays with 32 points, highlighted by strong relay performances and key contributions in the field. The relay teams carried much of the scoring: 4x400 relay placed third (3:45.08) in one of the team’s top performances of the night 4x800 relay added a fourth-place finish (9:18.74) 4x100 relay finished seventh, while the 4x200 team placed eighth In the field events, Scottsburg made a strong impact: Christopher Richardson finished runner-up in discus (119-10) and third in shot put (42-11.5), leading the throwers with a big double-scoring night. Kameron Reed took sixth in the long jump (19-5.25), adding valuable team points. The Warriors also saw solid individual efforts on the track: Aiden Krieger led Scottsburg in the 1600 meters (5:34.61) Multiple athletes contributed in sprint events, helping round out the team scoring.
