The Scottsburg girls delivered one of their strongest team performances of the season, finishing tied for fourth place with 42 points in a tightly contested field at the New Albany Relays. Leading the way was a dominant showing in the hurdles. Taylor Busick captured a meet championship in the 100-meter hurdles (17.42), while teammate Kylee Miles made it a 1-2 finish by taking second (18.37). That performance set the tone early and gave the Warriors a major points boost. Busick wasn’t done there. She added a runner-up finish in the long jump (15-4), showcasing her versatility and scoring ability across multiple events. Field events continued to be a strength for Scottsburg: Anissah Payne-Eldridge and Addison Eldridge both cleared 8-6 to tie for second in the pole vault Kylee Miles added another strong effort with a sixth-place finish in the high jump On the track, the Warriorettes showed depth: The 4x100 relay team placed fifth (55.38) The 4x200 relay added points with a ninth-place finish The combination of star power at the top and contributions across multiple events helped Scottsburg stay competitive all night in a meet loaded with talent.
