Scottsburg High School is proud to announce that Beau Carter (113), Luke Hamilton (165), and Hayden Wycoff (215) have been named to the Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association (IHSWCA) Academic All-State Junior Second Team. This prestigious recognition honors student-athletes across Indiana who demonstrate excellence not only on the wrestling mat but also in the classroom. Earning Academic All-State distinction reflects a strong commitment to discipline, time management, and achievement in both athletics and academics. Beau Carter, competing at 113 pounds, has been a key contributor to the Warriors’ lineup. Known for his work ethic and focus, Carter continues to show that success in wrestling starts with preparation and dedication—traits that extend into his academic pursuits. At 165 pounds, Luke Hamilton has consistently demonstrated leadership and determination. Balancing the demands of a competitive weight class with a rigorous academic schedule, Hamilton’s recognition highlights his ability to perform at a high level in all areas. Hayden Wycoff, wrestling at 215 pounds, has made his mark through persistence and commitment. His selection to the Academic All-State Junior Second Team reflects the effort he puts in year-round to represent Scottsburg with pride both in competition and in the classroom. The IHSWCA Academic All-State program recognizes student-athletes who meet high academic standards while competing in one of the most demanding high school sports. Being named to the Junior Second Team places Carter, Hamilton, and Wycoff among the top scholar-wrestlers in the state of Indiana. Scottsburg Athletics congratulates Beau, Luke, and Hayden on this outstanding accomplishment. Their dedication to “Play Hard, Play Smart, Play Together” continues to set the standard for Warrior student-athletes. https://ihswca.org/academic-all-state/
